Make your dinner reservations when you arrive but pop in for lunch.  Get the cheeseburger!!  Great back patio for kids!

You will see something different every time you hop in the golf cart.  It is truly a spectacular place.  
     

Learn the HISTORY of Bald Head.

  
Bald Head was a haven for pirates, civil war soldiers and many sea turtles.  North Carolina's oldest lighthouse is here!  (Old Baldy)  www.OldBaldy.org  
     

Protect a turtle

  
Visit the turtle conservancy.  Participate in one of their conservation lectures and join a naturalist on the beach

Additional Tips:

Order dinner ahead of time from the Maritime Market.  Our family loves the Lasagne Family Meal for $44.00.  The meal comes with enough lasagna, salad, and bread for eight people.  You must order it ahead of time as they make it from scratch -- I recommend six hours notice.

If you cannot get the tram pick up on the Island that you desire, you can always drop the luggage off with the golf cart and walk to the Ferry Terminal -- it's only a short ten minute walk!
